- UK Participation: Our competitions are open to UK participants only.
- Excluded Parties: Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.

4. How to Enter
By submitting any entry, including postal entries, participants agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Become a Registered User: Participants must create an account on the website by completing the registration form or signing in via linked social media platforms.
- Paid Entry: Participants can purchase tickets to enter competitions by selecting the desired number of tickets and completing the payment process before the competition’s closing date.
- Postal Entry: Participants may also enter competitions for free via postal entry. To do this, they must first register an account on the website and then mail their full name, contact telephone number, registered email address, and the title and ID number of the competition they wish to enter to Directivity Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. The information must be clearly printed in English on a plain postcard or letter.

Postal entries that do not meet these criteria will be deemed invalid. If the entrant's account cannot be identified from the details provided on the postal entry, the competition-specific single ticket entry will not be processed. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be considered. Personal and hand deliveries will not be accepted.
All entrants are solely and completely responsible for providing the Promoter with accurate and current contact details.
5. How It Works
- Product Purchase: You may purchase products at discounted prices as listed on our website. The discounted price and the retail price will be clearly displayed.
- Competition Entry: To enter a competition, you must correctly answer a skill-based question. These questions are designed to require significant skill or knowledge to answer correctly. After answering the question, you may purchase a ticket for a chance to win the item at a reduced rate. The odds of winning are explicitly stated on the competition page.
6. Skill-Based Question
The skill-based question is central to the competition. We regularly update these questions and vary their difficulty to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
7. Compliance Statement
DealOrChance.com operates under the regulations of the UK Gambling Act 2005 and similar laws in other jurisdictions. Our competitions are structured to be skill-based, ensuring they do not fall under the definition of a lottery. We are committed to full compliance with international laws, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations.
8. Competition Process
Each competition will clearly state the number of tickets available and the odds of winning. Our draws take place instantly on the date and time specified in the competition description, or if a competition sells out early, it will draw immediately at that time so we can announce the winner faster! Winners are selected using Random.org, which ensures a fair and transparent selection process.
Our claim period is 14 days from the date of the draw. For any prizes that have not been claimed during that period, we reserve the right to select a runner-up or donate the product or cash equivalent to our charity partners instead. We will always go ahead and draw a winner, regardless of the number of tickets that are sold. We will also never extend the draw date, and a winner will be drawn from the sold tickets, even if all the tickets aren’t sold.

11. Refunds and Dispute Resolution

- UK Participants: Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
- International Participants: We may agree to arbitration or another form of dispute resolution in a neutral jurisdiction.
The Promoter will in no way be liable for any failure or inability to make contact with any entrant due to errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the entrants.
The Promoter will not accept:
- Responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware, or software failure of any kind.
- Responsibility for postal entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in receipt at the specified address, regardless of the cause, including postal service failures, natural disasters, and water damage.
- Any other purported proof of entry to the competition other than as recorded by the systems of the website or by the Promoter upon receipt of a postal entry.
An entry, including a postal entry, shall be declared void, without any refund being given, if the entrant engages in, or the Promoter at their sole discretion believes the entrant is engaging in:
- Any form of fraud, whether actual or apparent.
- Fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Fraudulent concealment.
- Hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the website.
- Amending or unauthorized use of any code that constitutes the website (e.g., utilizing any information from the website's code to gain an advantage over other entrants).
Each individual entrant may submit up to the maximum number of entries specified for any one particular competition. Only valid entries and postal entries will be entitled to participate in a competition and be eligible to win a prize.
12. Data Protection and Privacy
Please see our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. We are committed to complying with all applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website.
14. Contact Information
For any questions or concerns, please contact us at hello@dealorchance.com.
15. Prizes and the Draw
- Prize Allocation: Winners are determined through a random draw conducted using Random.org or a similar True Random Number Generator. The draw will be conducted on the competition’s closing date or once all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
- Notification and Claiming: Winners are notified by email and must claim their prize within 14 days. If the prize is not claimed within this period, the prize will be forfeited.
- Transparency: The Promoter will publish the draw results on the website, and participants can request a copy of the draw audit within 30 days of the draw.
16. Unclaimed Prizes
If a winner does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited. The Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another participant or include it in future competitions. The Promoter may refuse delivery of a prize if fraud is suspected.
17. Limitation of Liability
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury resulting from participation in the competition, except where legally required. This includes, but is not limited to, issues arising from technical failures or acts of nature. The Promoter’s liability to each participant is limited to the value of the participant’s entry fees.
Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of submitting an entry or postal entry, or in relation to the use and enjoyment of a prize by the winner through any competition, except where death or personal injury is caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter, or that of their agents, distributors, or employees. The winner’s statutory rights are not affected.
The liability of the Promoter to each entrant is limited to the aggregate value of the entry fees paid by that entrant.
The Promoter accepts no liability for errors or omissions contained within the description of any prize awarded as part of any of the competitions on the website, or the prize value, or any other description or specification or any other part of the website. It is the responsibility of each entrant (and in particular the winner and any runners-up) to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of the website.
The Promoter accepts no liability for errors or omissions caused by human error or technical faults within the Promoter's technological infrastructure. This limitation of liability applies in situations such as where errors or faults lead to the system or the Promoter's staff wrongly paying out or promising to pay out prizes or cash alternatives to registered users, registered users winning prizes in an unintended manner, the system drawing a competition twice, and so on. In such situations, no prizes shall be paid out and, subject to a full refund issued to the registered user (or site credit should the registered user prefer), the Promoter shall have no further liability for any reason. Confirmation emails and other communications from the Promoter do not constitute acceptance of any transaction on the Promoter's website.
The Promoter accepts no liability for non-receipt or issues with receipt of a prize due to errors in information provided by the winner or runner-up, such as incorrect bank account details or a wrong delivery address.
18. Announcements and Publicity
With the winner’s consent, the Promoter may use their name, location, and profile image for publicity purposes for up to 12 months after the competition’s end. This may include publication on the website, in email marketing campaigns, and on social media platforms.
19. General
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel any competition at any time, either before or after entries have been received. In cases where a human or technical error has resulted in participants being awarded one or more prizes in an unfair manner or participants being disadvantaged, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition, not award any prizes for that competition, and refund entry fees paid directly to the entrant. This applies even if the prizes have already been won, as each participant must have the same chance of winning per ticket in every competition.
Competitions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes resolved in their courts. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting. Updates to these terms will be posted on the website.
20. Third-Party Rights
A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions shall not have any rights under or in connection with them.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and the participant and supersede any prior agreements.
